Read
To read a message, simply click on the appropriate "From" name on the Message Screen. This will activate the remaining buttons (Reply, Forward, Delete, etc.) on the Action bar and show you the contents of the message. This client supports HTML-formatted messages as well as plain text. You will also be able to download any attachments by clicking on the link in the Attachments area of the message.

Compose
To send a new message, click on the "Compose" name on the Action bar. Below is a picture of the Compose screen:

If you have accessed either the Options or the Address Book, your nickname will show up on the "From" line. If not, then "3wGuest" will be there. Every message you send will be sent from whatever email address you signed in with; however, you can specify a different Reply-to address in the Options screen.
If you do have an Address Book, you will be able to click on the "To:" button to access the address picker. If not, you will need to manually type in the email address of the person (or persons) you are mailing. Use a comma ( , ) to separate each address in the list. The "To" field is the only required field on this page.
If you have a new enough browser (IE3.x, Netscape 4.x), you should have a "Browse" button at the end of the Attachment line. This will open an new window so you can browse to the file on you local machine you want to send to the recipient. If the "Browse" is not there, you will need to upgrade your browser before you can send any attachments.
Finally, the large text area field is where you type your message. You can put plain text or HTML code in area and the system will send it out exactly how you type it.

Reply and Forward
Both of these screens work identically to the "Compose" screen with a couple of minor differences. When you click on Reply or Forward, the original message is quoted for you in the text area. Reply will also fill in the original message's Sender into the "To" field, as well. (At this time, you cannot Forward attachments, but we are very close to implementing this feature).
