Below is a sample picture of the Message Screen - this is your "Inbox". There are four major areas of note on this page:

1. User Information

This area of the page is mainly just information: your email address, total number of messages, physical mailbox size and the nickname you set for yourself in the options area. The most important item here would be the banner ad. Without these ads, we wouldn't be able to bring you this service for free nor make all the upgrades we have in the past years. If you were to just click on one ad per session, we will be able to offer even more features. (*hint hint*)

2. Action Buttons

In this area of the page, there are several buttons for performing various actions throughout the site. About half of them are not active on this page because they relate to a specific message. Clicking on Inbox will check your mail server for new messages and redraw the page for you. You can also use this button to get back to the main screen from anywhere else on the site. Compose, Address Book, Options, and Log Off are discussed elsewhere in the help file. The Feedback button can be used to send us a quick compliment, complaint and/or bug report. Please use this feature often.

3. Message List

This area contains some basic information about the messages in your mailbox: who it's from, the subject and when you received the message. There is also a checkbox next to each message for use in deleting messages. To read a specific message, simply click on the corresponding name in the From field.

4. Page List

The bottom of the this page is used for moving up and down in the message list. Click on a number to jump to that page or use "Next" and "Previous" to step through each page of messages. (You can specify how many messages to display per page in the Options area)
